Jerry P. "Jerome" Rowe

Jerry “Jerome” P. Rowe, 66, of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota passed away unexpectantly on October 19, 2018. Per his wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Jerry was born on March 16, 1952 to Vincent and Betty (Tone) Rowe in Sioux City. He attended Bishop Heelan Catholic School, where he graduated high school in 1970. He went on to attend Western Iowa Tech Community College.
He worked as a meat cutter in the Siouxland area before becoming a meat cutting instructor at Western Iowa Tech Community College, where he remained for many years before retiring. Jerry spent many years as a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and sharing recipes with his family and friends.
He is survived by two daughters: Kara Rowe and Alisha Rowe; 3 grandchildren; one brother, Raymond (Kathy) Rowe; and one sister, Lorraine (Lynn) Kohl.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Richard Rowe.
Memorial donations may be given in Jerry’s name to Sisters of St. Francis or to the American Heart Association.
