Shirley Dollerschell

Shirley Ann Dollerschell passed away peacefully on October 5, 2018 following a courageous battle with cancer. Private burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery. Shirley was born on November 15, 1948 in Sioux City to Ferdinand and Dorothy (Cobb) Dollerschell. She attended Irving Elementary and graduated from Central High School. Following graduation, she worked as an elevator operator in the Insurance Exchange Building for 4 years. Shirley was then employed at Mercy Medical Center for 26 years. She enjoyed bingo, cards, feeding the squirrels and her pets Snickers and Snowball. Left to cherish her memory are a brother Ronald and his wife Lynne, of Sioux City; a sister Peggy and her husband Rich of Leander, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Memorials may be directed to the Siouxland Humane Society or Hospice of Siouxland.
