Private family services will be held at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with a private burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Rose was born February 16, 1940 in Great Falls, MT; she was the daughter of Ignatious and Sophie (Benzink) Cislo.  She lived in Zurich, MT and then moved to Chinook, MT where she graduated from high school.

On May 3, 1962 Rose married her loving husband of 56 years, LeRoy Blackburn in Elk Point, SD.  Rose and LeRoy had a very happy marriage and life together.

Rose will be remembered for being a very loving and caring person who had a big heart. She loved her family, grandchildren and great grand children very much. In her free time, Rose enjoyed many things. Some of her favorites included being a very good tennis player in her younger years, crocheting blankets and towels, spending time with loved ones in her family, baking, cooking and traveling.

While living in Phoenix, Az, Rose took pride in assisting and comforting survivors and family member that were victims in the 9/11 attacks in New York City back in 2001 while working at Discover Card Services. She found those volunteer services to be very rewarding to help those in need, further proving to everyone who loved her that she was a very loving person with a big heart even to those other than family. She will be greatly missed and loved by all those that got to know her.

Rose will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend of 56 years, LeRoy Blackburn of Sioux City; her children: Cindy Blackburn of Sioux City, Theresa Blackburn and her special friend Randy McCullough of Salix, IA, Mike Blackburn and his wife Cindy of Phoenix, AZ; 4 grandchildren: Nittaya, Christy, Jacob and Jessica; numerous great grandchildren and her brother Paul Cislo and his wife Marie of Boseman, Mt.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers Jerry and Jim Cislo.
