James William Shelton was rode hard and put away wet too many times and has been recalled by the manufacturer. He started out two months early and survived. No meager trick 80 years ago. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 8, 2018 at Morningside Assembly of God. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be at Sun River Cemetery in Sun River Montana. Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com For Jim, life was an adventure. He did it all. College, scuba diving, a sojourn in the rain forest, sky diving, bringing kids of all ages to live on the ranch as well as hosting over a dozen exchange students. Another high demand for him was substitute teaching high school. Fishing was always top on the list. The biggest thrill was when he accepted Jesus as Savior. Talk about out-of-this-world opportunities! As a supply rat for most of his 38 years of military he was on the inspector general’s team and was NCOIC when his unit was awarded the best supply unit of all US military in the world. Yes, a big deal. After retiring life got really interesting for him and his wife, Judy of 49 years. Five years as adviser to the Royal Saudi Arabian Air Force morphed into a lot of world travel. His 45 years as a real live cowboy in Montana was a dream come true. He was in high demand as a camp cook for the dude ranches. An outstanding cook plus his yarns never ran out and kept people spell bound. Preceding him in death are his son, Jimmy; daughter Brenda; his little sister; parents and hopefully Blaskovich. Surviving him here on earth is his first wife Aileen and their daughters Denise and Susan; brother: Gary Shelton; sister: Marilyn Feauto;, and more blood relatives from the line of Jesus than you can count.
