William "Bill" Whear, Sr.

   William “Bill” Whear, Sr., 75, of Sioux City died Friday, September 7, 2018 at his home.

   Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

   Bill, the son of William H. and Helen C. Whear, was born October 25, 1942 in Omaha, NE.

   He is survived by his wife, Ginny; son, William “Bill” (Jayna) Whear, Jr.; three daughters: Jackie (Mark) Rubida, Christine (Randy) Lieber and Lisa (Thaddeus) Utech; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, John (Kathy) Whear; sister, Judie (John) Goss; and nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

   He was preceded in death by his parents.
