Doris Goodon-Hopkins, age 85, quietly passed away on a cool summer morning in Sioux City Iowa on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Doris was born on April 6, 1933 in Norton Kansas. Doris chose Iowa as her home for the last 30+ years. She enjoyed square dancing, bingo and playing cards but her deepest love was for her family.
Doris is survived by 6 of her 14 children: George Goodon, Logan Goodon, David Goodon, Charlene Ashoff, Colleen Goodon and Janice Grover as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
