Ronda J. Sitzman, 62 of Sioux City, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at a local nursing facility. Memorial Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Deacon Patricia Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Neptune, Iowa. www.meyerbroschapel.com Ronda was born on July 12, 1956 in Sioux City to Robert and Joyce (Chrestensen) Blanford. She received her education in the Sioux City Public Schools, graduating from West High. She married Charles Sitzman on September 1, 1976 in Elk Point, South Dakota, to which union, one daughter was born. Ronda was a housekeeper in the long-term care industry, and for a short while in hospitals in the Siouxland area. She was a collector of clowns and angels, but found her greatest joy in her grandson Tyler. Ronda was a dog-lover especially her dog “Jack” and her former pooch, “Taco Bell”.
Ronda is survived by her daughter Jessica Walsh, and her husband Matt, of Valley Park, Missouri; grandson Tyler Walsh of Valley Park, Missouri; brothers David Blanford, and his wife Paula, of Sioux City, Darrell Blanford, and his wife Carol, of Sioux City, and Darwin Blanford, and his wife Debbie, of Onawa; and sister-in-law Bonnie Blanford of Sioux City.
Ronda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles in 1996, one sister Roberta, and one brother Danny.
