Mark W. Kemp, 56, of Sioux City passed away, Sunday, July 8, 2018 unexpectedly. There will be a visitation Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 4 to 7 P.M. with a Celebration of Life service at 6 P.M. at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Burial will be at Graceland Park Cemetery. Mark was born the son of Norbert A. and Vicki E. (Ludwigs) Kemp on May 14, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended West High School.
He worked for Tyson Foods as a maintenance supervisor in the Hide Plant for more than ten years.
Mark was a Harley man, who enjoyed riding and wrenching on bikes. He enjoyed family gatherings and grilling out. He also liked fishing and playing with his dog, Champ.
Mark is survived by a son, Michael Kemp and a daughter, Joslin (Adam) Albert all of Sioux City; two brothers, Norbert (Tracy) Kemp of Tucson, Arizona and Keith Kemp of Buda, Texas; one sister, Sherri (Dale) VanPelt of Grand Junction, Colorado; two grandchildren, Blake and Alex Albert; several special nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Champ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Joseph Paul.
