Neola Muriel (Rasmussen) Carlson, 84, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at a local hospital.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 6, 2018 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, 3220 Stone Park Blvd. with Reverend James Travis officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
Neola was born August 1, 1933 in Paulina, Iowa, the daughter of Mourith and Trenka (Dornbush) Rasmussen. She married Emmett C. Carlson in 1980 in San Diego, CA. He proceeded her in death on November 13, 2007.
Neola worked in the Banking and Insurance Industries. She enjoyed the entertainment of the casino.
Survivors include her nephews: Tom (Rachael) Rasmussen of Finksburg, MD and their children Benjamin and William and Jack (Linda) Rasmussen of Taneytown, MD and their son Michael.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers Niel and Leo.
