Cheryl Ann Miller

August 13, 1956 — June 8, 2018

Cheryl Ann Miller, 61, of Sioux City passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at a local hospital. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Cathedral of the Epiphany, St. Boniface Worship Site. The Very Reverend Brent Lingle will officiate. Burial will be at Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Cheryl was born on August 13, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina, to Harold and Bonnie (Milner) Miller. She was a lifetime resident of Sioux City. After graduation from West High School in 1974, she graduated from Morningside College in 1978 with a major in Elementary Education and Library Science. She taught 5th grade at St. Boniface, Holy Family, and Sacred Heart schools for a total of 29 years until poor health forced her to retire.

She enjoyed reading, watching TV, gardening, collecting recipe books, her pets, teaching, and being with family and God her Father.

Survivors include: a sister Bonnie Stetson (John) of Sioux City; three nephews: Warren Gregg (Katie Weber) of Sioux City; Alexander Stetson of Louisville, KY; and Nicholas Stetson (Karissa) of Sioux City; a step-niece Elizabeth Stetson of Mims, FL; and two great-nieces: Alysa Gregg of Sioux Falls, SD; and Nataleigh Stetson of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an identical twin sister, Charlotte Ann Miller; grandparents: R. Howard and Blanche (Pavlik) Milner, and Earl and Stella Miller; and a nephew Joel Gregg.

Honorary pallbearers will be: John Stetson, Warren Gregg, Elizabeth Stetson, Alexander Stetson, Nicholas Stetson, Karissa Stetson, Alysa Gregg, Nataleigh Stetson, and Katie Weber.
