Sibbie L. Carpenter, 62 of Sioux City passed away Sunday June 3, 2018 at a Sioux City nursing home. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday June 9, 2018 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
It is with great sadness that the family of Sibbie L. Carpenter announces her passing on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at the age of 62 years. Sibbie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Misha Dowd and Moshai Dowd, her surviving siblings, Leaster Ellington and Larry Carpenter, and a host of relatives and friends.
Sibbie will be remembered for quick wit, kind heart, and intelligence. Graduating at the top of her class from the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff with a degree in Mathematics, she went on to become a top performing engineer and manager at TRW, an aerospace company.
She will forever hold a special place in the lives of everyone she touched and will be greatly missed.
