Joseph Paul Jackson, 75, of Sioux City passed away Monday March 25, 2018 at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday April 3, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday April 2, 2018 from 4 till 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 till 8 p.m. and vigil service at 7p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Joseph Paul Jackson was born December 5, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois the son of John S. Teal and Marcy Johnson he was later adopted by his grandmother. Mr. Jackson served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Air Force. Joseph was employed as a commercial electrician. He married Judith A. Kassing on January 20, 1962 in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife Judy, Three Sons; Joseph Jackson (Maureen Robinson) of Maynard Mass, Daniel (Lori) Jackson of Sioux City, David (Karla) Jackson of Sioux City, Four daughters; Christine (Scott) Rector of Bellevue, Nebraska, Michelle Boltjes (Marty Johnson) of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Barbara (Rick) Hanson of Sioux City and Veronica (Osvaldo) Santos of Wilmington North Carolina, one brother Del Jackson of Georgia, 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, five sisters and one granddaughter.
