Clifford “Cliffy” H. Huseman, 85, of Sioux City, IA died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at a Sioux City hospital.
Cremation will take place and no services are planned.
Clifford “Cliffy”, son of Henry and Hazel (Peterson) Husman was born July 16, 1932 in Akron, IA. He graduated from Meriden High School in Meriden, IA.
On June 21, 1955, Cliffy married Donna Walker. They lived in many places before the 1970’s then Sioux City. Cliffy had many jobs prior to 1983 when he started working for State Steel Company in the warehouse. He later picked up a second job cleaning AEA 12. When it came time to retire, he couldn’t just do nothing so State Steel kept him on and he cleaned offices and did grounds keeping. He also did the same for sister company, Compressed Steel.
Cliffy loved his Boston Terrior, Sassy; working in his yard; and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Denver Broncos fan.
He is survived by his children: Doug Huseman of Olathe, KS, Mike (Eva) Huseman of Sioux City, Kelly (Cheryl) Huseman of Sioux City, Dixie (Raymond) Cain of Omaha, NE, Roxanne (John) Engel of Omaha, Jack (Marie) Huseman of Sioux City; 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and three sisters, Josephine (Robert) Grienke, Freda (Wayne) Condon and Lilly (Arvid) Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna on March 23, 2011 and four sisters.
Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
