Robert Morgan, 75, of Sioux City passed away March 13, 2018 of Parkinson’s.
Per Bob’s wishes, he requested cremation and no formal services. Friends and family are welcome on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 3 to 5 p.m. to stop by the house of Art and Sandy Fritz to share memories of Bob. Online condolences may be expressed at www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Bob was born July 28, 1942 to George “Sonny” and Dorothy Morgan.
Bob was united in marriage to Deanna Taylor and through this marriage they had two children, Robert Shane Morgan and Tamera De Ann Nelson both of Florida.
Bob attended Sioux City Schools and worked for the City of Sioux City for 32 years.
Bob was known for his gentle soul and loving heart. He loved animals, collecting things especially Sioux City history. He loved playing games including chess and cribbage. He was known as the cookie monster from his love of goodies and homemade cookies which he was well supplied with for many years from family and friends. He loved traveling to Florida to visit and spend time with his children and extended family.
Bob is survived by his wife; his children and their partners; two brothers, George and Mike; and two sisters, Cathy and Susan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
The family wishes to whole heartedly thank the Accura Nursing Home staff and patients for their kindness and love shown to Bob.
