Jon was born Oct. 13, 1951 in Sioux City the son of Robert and Carolyn (Huth) Foulk. He graduated from Central High School in 1970 and from the University of Sioux Falls (SD) in 1975.

On January 18, 1975 he married Barb A. Lee in Sioux Falls. Together they raised two children, Sara and Jason.

Jon joined the family business, Foulk Brothers Plumbing and Heating in the late 1970s and was still active in the business.

In earlier years he played baseball for the Sioux City Saints. He also umpired countless baseball games during this time. His love for the game turned into coaching youth baseball for many years. He played on several slow pitch softball teams. Jon also enjoyed bowling; and for those who knew him he lived to play golf. He was also an avid sports fan: Iowa Hawkeyes, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, Minnesota Vikings and Sioux City Musketeers.

Above all, Jon lived every day for his family.

Survivors include his wife, Barb; son, Jason Foulk and wife, Rhiannon of Grimes, IA; daughter, Sara Staber of Sioux City; brothers, Bill Foulk and wife, Peggy of Sioux City and Jim Foulk and wife Connie of Bellingham, WA; and grandchildren, Ryder Foulk, Eli Foulk, Grace Staber and Ben Staber; and mother-n-law Frances Lee of Sioux Falls, SD; and nieces and nephews.
