William Harvey Neville

September 19, 1926 — March 5, 2018

William H. Neville, 91 of Sioux City, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at a local nursing facility. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with burial in Graceland Park Cemetery at a later date. Visitation, with the family present, will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com

He married Elizabeth Monroe March 1, 1949 in Ida Grove Iowa. Together they had 6 children, Judy, Greg, Francis, Colleen, Eddy, and Jimmy. Betty and Harvey moved to Sioux City in 1951. Harvey worked as a laborer helping farmers and with his dad for a number of years. He also worked as a laborer doing different jobs. He worked at Armors packing plant until they closed. He then worked for Prince Hydraulics as a machinist for 28 years until he retired. He also enjoyed working part time as a painter for 40 years. In 1996 Harvey and Elizabeth divorced and he married Lulu Lee in April 2005. She later died in Feb 2008.

He was an active member of the Siouxland Senior Center where he enjoyed spending time there. He enjoyed gardening and photography. Most of all he loved doing puzzles.

His surviving family includes his Daughter Judy (Paul) Harker of Sioux City, a son Greg Neville of Omaha, son Francis (Sally) of Sioux City, daughter Colleen Loza of Norfolk, Nebraska son Eddy Neville of Sioux City, a brother Ray (Donna) Neville of Granger, Iowa; sister Emma Peterson of Laurens, 10 grandchildren- Troy, Tracy, Tristan, Sheldon, LaRissa, Melissa, Veronica, Isaiah, Brittany, and Brandon, and 12 great grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Reuben and Margaret Neville, a brother Reuben, half-brothers Cloyd Etchison and Lee Miller, Betty Neville and Lulu Neville and son Jimmy
