Keith D. Uhl



   Keith D. Uhl, 73, of Smithland, IA passed Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 at his home following a short battle with brain cancer.

   In memory of Keith, my loving husband of 18 years, rest in peace, may your spirit be forever with us. Thank you for all the years of sacrifice you made for your family working 35 years at MidAmerican Energy.

   Keith was a practicing Shaman, and his wishes were to have a private ceremony and spreading of his ashes in the spring, where he spent a great deal of time gathering wild flowers and herbs as a tradition of the Shaman. On the hillsides of the sacred Loess Hills, Keith was most spiritually at home.
