Inez Thomas

Inez Thomas, age 91, peacefully went to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Honor Health Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona. Family, friends, and others whose lives Inez touched are invited to join her family in celebrating her life, on Wednesday February 14, 2018. Visitation with family present for receiving will begin at 11:30am with funeral services beginning at 12:00 noon, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd) in Sioux City, Iowa. She was born on June 7, 1926 to John and Georgia Ollison in Portland, Arkansas. She was a resident of Sioux City, Iowa for over 70 years before relocating to Texas and Arizona, in 2013. Inez worked for the Sioux City Country Club and Bennett Vending prior to retiring in 1996. Being a Child of God, Inez had a strong faith and attended Malone A.M.E. Church for many years while living in Sioux City.

Inez leaves to carry her legacy; her children; Faye Greene (Linwood) of Phoenix, Az, Edward Thomas of San Diego, Ca, Barvetta Palmore (Ronald) of Peoria, Az, Lester Thomas of Denver, Co, Frederick Thomas of Sioux City, IA, and Debra Baer(Michael) of Orlando, FL, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her beloved first cousin Cordell Trotter, Kansas City, Kansas.

Inez was preceded in death by; her parents, her loving husband, Clarence Thomas, and children; twin daughters Joy and Jenny Thomas, Patricia Thomas, and Margie Pitts
