Dona Girard

Dona Girard, 84, of Sioux City passed away Thursday January 25, 2018 Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery at a later date. Dona was born August 28, 1933 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Donald H. and Agnes M. (Jensen) Wood. She married Maynard Girard June 16, 1951 in Sioux City Iowa. Dona was a home maker, an avid card player with one of many games being cribbage. She also enjoyed bowling and playing Bingo with sister-in-law Marlene Girard. Dona is survived by two sons; Martin Girard and Maris Girard both of Sioux City; granddaughter Mrs. Tanisha Andersen of Dakota City; two grandsons; Cruz and Otto Andersen both of Dakota City. Mrs. Girard was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Robert Wood, husband, and two sons; Matthew and Mark.
