Bradley L. Ebaugh

August 17, 1938 — January 31, 2018

   Bradley “Brad” L. Ebaugh, 79, of South Sioux City, NE died Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at his residence.

   Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018, at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City with Pastor Douglas Dill officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

   Bradley, the son of Lisle and Esther (Stone) Ebaugh, was born August 17, 1938 in Sioux City, IA.  Brad grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. After high school, he worked as a printer/foreman at DW Verstegen.  Brad was known as the best left handed bartender in the three state area.  He worked as a bartender at several establishments including El Charmido, Saltzmine, Callahan’s, and the Dublin House.  Brad was the first person hired at the riverboat casino in Sioux City.  He worked on the riverboat as a casino manager until retiring in 2007.

   On a blind date at the Saltzmine, Brad met the love of his life, Doreen Coombs, and they were married on May 25, 1974 in Sioux City.

   Brad enjoyed golfing, boating, snowmobiling, camping and trips to the Black Hills and Las Vegas (with Brad, there was never a dull moment).  In addition, he loved his Sunday poker tournaments.  In the 1960’s, he was a member of the South Sioux City Police Reserves.

   Brad is survived by his wife, Doreen Ebaugh; daughter, Kristel Ebaugh; son, Jason Ebaugh; grandson, Bradley P. Ebaugh; sister, Carol Bush; sister-in-law, Noreen Ebaugh; and nieces and nephews: Bradley R. Ebaugh, Doug Ebaugh, Tom Ebaugh, Annette Sjaarda, Lynn Rossiter, and Curt Bush.

   He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bob Ebaugh.
   Pallbearers will be Brad's nephews, Larry Schulte, and Mike Schmidt.
