Terry L. Barbee

Terry Lee Barbee, 47, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 4 to 8 P.M. with family present from 6 to 8 P.M. with a prayer service at 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Terry was born the son of William and Louise (Murdock) Barbee, Sr. on June 12, 1970 in Sioux City, Iowa. Terry married Kellie Callendar on January 6, 1998 in Elk Point, South Dakota. They made their home in Sioux City.

Terry worked for Micro Tower for several years and Sioux City Foundry for ten years.

He enjoyed fishing and storytelling. He was BFF with his twin sister, Tina. His greatest joy was being a father and grandfather.

Terry is survived by his wife, Kellie Barbee of Sioux City; two sons, Cyle and Alex Barbee of Sioux City; his father, William (Julie) Barbee, Sr. of Sioux City; three brothers, Kevin (Wendy) Barbee of Sioux City, William Barbee, Jr. of Newton, Iowa, and Ricky Johnson of Sioux City; two sisters, Tina Fores of Sioux City and Rachelle (Josh) Kruse of Des Moines, Iowa; one granddaughter, Montana; two sisters-in-law, Rachel Callendar of Arizona and Stacey (Parris) Dingman of Sioux City; and mother-in-law, Sheila Lias of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Barbee; one brother, Rodney Barbee; and one niece, Keri Callendar.
