Teresa Marie Hein

Teresa M. Hein, 70, of Sioux City passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family.

 Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 703 W. 5th Street, Sioux City, IA. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Visitation with the family present will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the church. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is handling arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Teresa was born on July 26, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Vincent and Maxine Mc Mahon. She attended Bishop Heelan High School, graduating in 1965. The following year she graduated from Stewart’s School of Cosmetology. After teaching at the school, she went on to be a designer for Stewart Salons. Teresa later went to work for Belle Touché Salon, retiring in 2013.

On October 26th, 1968, she married Dale D. Hein. They settled in Sioux City, where they raised three boys. They were married for 47 years until Dale passed away in 2015.

Teresa was a devout Catholic and had a great love for Sister Joseph and the Carmelites.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren, who she adored.

Teresa is survived by her children. Dale Hein (Ron Kurtz) Alcester, SD. Chad Hein (Beth) of Frisco, TX. Brett Hein, of Sioux City. Five grandchildren, Mitchell, Zachary, Brooke, Lizzy and Amanda, Frisco, TX. One sister Mary Beauchene (Ron) of Omaha, NE. Three brother, Raymond McMahon (Patty) of Sioux City, Vince McMahon (Karen) of Sioux City, and Mike McMahon (Sally) of Sioux City, and several nieces and nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and several aunts and uncles.
