Elizabeth "Betty" Renshaw

   Elizabeth E. “Betty” Renshaw, 73, of Sioux City died Saturday, January 20, 2018, at a local care facility.

   Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd.) in Sioux City.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.meyerbroschapels.com

   Elizabeth “Betty” Renshaw, the daughter of Joseph and Jane (Hickey) Sparks, was born September 20, 1944 in Omaha, NE.  She grew up and went to school in Omaha graduating from Bishop Ryan in 1962.  On March 30, 1964, Betty was united in marriage to Harold Renshaw in Omaha.  They made their home in several places in the Midwest.  In 2000, Betty became a certified dental assistant and worked in a dental office from 2000 to 2003.

   Betty had many hobbies and was active in the Catholic Church for many years.

   Betty is survived by her husband Harold; three daughters: Renee Renshaw, Andrea Nelson and Rebecca (Jeffrey) Wigton; one son, Eric (Melissa) Renshaw; eight grandchildren; three brothers: Dan (Beth) Sparks, Jim (Kathy) Sparks and Tom (Joann) Sparks; three sisters: Maryann (Jerry) Roy, Patricia (Ed) Kroll and Rita (Carlton Topf) Sparks.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Margaret “Peggy” Sparks and one brother, Lawrence Sparks.
