Nancy "Bow" Jarabek

Nancy R. “Bow” Jarabek, 67, of Sioux City entered into eternal peace following a lengthy illness surrounded by her family on Monday, January 15, 2018 at a local hospital.

Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd.) in Sioux City with Reverend Merrill Muller officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Nancy “Bow” was born in Brookings, South Dakota to Donald Platt and Mary Jane (Boettcher).  She married Don Irvine Jarabek in 1968.  Through this union they had 4 children.  They made their home in Sioux City, Iowa.  Nancy enjoyed being a waitress most of her life.  Through this career and throughout her life she touched the lives of so many people.

Loved ones to cherish her memory – Her Husband – Her true love, Don.  Son Jacob Joe (Christie), Daughters, Tammy Richards (Rich), Samantha Lynn (Grant), Son, Michael Don (Holly), Son in law, Bird, Sister, Kaye Cheney, Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and In-Laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Her Father in Law, Joseph Jarabek and Mother in Law, Lorenne Jarabek, Her Sister, Carole and Brother, Don.
