Debra Lee Thieman

     Debra Lee Thieman, 66, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday January 10, 2018 at a Sioux City nursing home.

      Memorial services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday January 20, 2018 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

     Debra Lee Thieman was born December 31, 1951 in Sioux City Iowa the daughter of Virgil and Fern (Wiegel) Simmons. She married David D. Thieman May 1970 in Sioux City Iowa he preceded her in death January 28, 2004. Debra was a longtime employee of the City of Sioux City at the Sioux City Convention Center. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and gardening. Debra was a resident of Sioux City the majority of her life.

     Mrs. Thieman is survived by her sons; Brian Thieman and his wife Marina, Brad Thieman and his wife Lisa. Granddaughter; Carly Kucera, grandson; Daniel Thieman and her brother; Doug Simmons.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her sister Kate Loos and brother; Bruce Simmons.
