Courtney L. Curl, 31, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 of natural causes. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 27, 2017 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Courtney was born the daughter of Brian Johnson and Marie Leopold on September 4, 1986 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She spent most of her life in Sioux City.
She worked for Alorica for three years until it closed. She was currently a student at WIT and working part time at Shoe Carnival. Courtney loved her children and being involved in their activities. She enjoyed music and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved all of her family and friends and would do anything to help anyone in need.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and should be directed to the Courtney Curl Memorial Fund at any Security National Bank of Iowa location or mailed to Security National Bank, 601 Pierce Street, Sioux City, Iowa 51101.
Courtney is survived by two children, Tavien Manning and Harmonie Jackson of Sioux City; her boyfriend, Andrew “Dru” Jackson of Sioux City; mother and dad, Marie and Brian Marshall of South Sioux City, Nebraska; one brother, Ryan Marshall of Sioux City; one sister, Brianna Marshall; and half-sister, Ashley Ruble of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her father, Brian Johnson; and grandfather, Ed Leopold.
