Kevin L. Sargent 60, of Colorado Springs, CO formally of Sioux City passed away October 23, 2017 in Aurora, CO.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with Deacon Fred Karpuk officiating.
Kevin was born October 25, 1956 in Sioux City, IA, the son of Gola (Herbold) Bales.
He married Mary Ann Moody on June 14th, 1980 at Nativity Church in Sioux City, IA. Kevin lived in Sioux City until 2015, when he and Mary Ann relocated to Colorado Springs, CO.
For those who knew “Kevvy”, they would all agree he had a huge heart and an incredible ability to make people laugh. He was a gentle giant who loved his family more than anything…especially his Grandchildren Gracie and CJ. He showed us all an incredible amount of strength amidst adversity and taught those around him how to live and fight with grace, kindness and compassion. He was a member of Discover Church Colorado in Colorado Springs, CO.
Kevvy is survived by his Wife, Mary Ann Sargent, Colorado Springs, CO; Daughter Sarah Sargent (Jared Carlson), Denver, CO; Son Clint (Jill) Sargent, Dayton OH; Grandchildren Gracie and CJ Sargent, Dayton, OH; Mother, Gola Bales, Sioux City, IA; Brothers and Sisters: Steve (Judy) Sargent, Sioux City, IA; Lonnie (Jana) Sargent, Sioux City, IA; Roxann Petersen (Bruce), Correctionville, IA; and Tammie Sargent, Sioux City, IA.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Lonnie Sargent, Steve Sargent, Chris Benson, Doug Moody, CJ (Buddy, Cooney) Sargent, Chip & Louis (“The Boys”) Sargent.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been made in Kevin's name.
