Ronald A. Lenninger, age 68, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his home. Ronald was born on September 8, 1949 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was the son of Hubert James and Marianne (Kunze) Lenninger. On January 2, 1976 Ronald was united in marriage to Roberta “Bobbi” Heilmann. They shared 41 years of marriage together at the time of his death. He served his country proudly in the 95th Evacuation Hospital of the United States Army during the Vietnam war. Ronald was awarded the Bronze Star for his service. He worked as a nurse anesthetist for 38 years. Traveling was something that Ronald dearly loved. But his greatest joy was spending time with his family whenever possible. Ronald is survived by his wife Bobbi; his son David Lenninger and wife Erin of New Lisbon, Wisconsin; his daughter Laurie Lenninger of Brooklyn, New York; his 3 grandchildren, Katherine, Collin, and Ayden Lenninger, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Marianne Lenninger and his brother Gordon Lenninger. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri. Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, October 23, 2017 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Lake Ozark, Missouri. There will also be a visitation on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with the family present from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and prayer service at 8:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City, Iowa. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. Memorial donations are suggested to AANA Foundation (designated for scholarship), Christ the King Lutheran Church of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Hospice Compassus.
