Arlene K. Sullivan

Arlene K. Sullivan, 77, of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at The Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arlene was born the daughter of Maurice and Cecile (Martin) Sullivan on January 11, 1940 in Salix, Iowa. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Salix before moving to Sioux City. Arlene did factory work for Donnelley Marketing, Aalfs Manufacturing, and John Morrell over the years. She loved animals and spending time with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She favored cats but was also known to feed any of the outside animals around her house. Arlene was a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church. Arlene is survived by one son, Todd Sullivan of Colo, Iowa; one sister, Patti Pauley of Centralia, Missouri; a special great niece, Laurie (Raul) Garcia of Sioux City; two grandchildren, Cody Mulvihill of Sioux City and Dylan Sullivan of Marshalltown, Iowa; and several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Francis, Walter, and Leo; and five sisters, Margaret, Evelyn, Verla, Shirley, and Karen.
