Fred R. Marks

Fred R Marks, 53 of South Sioux City, passed away peacefully Saturday September 23, 2017 at Matney’s Colonial Manor . Memorial service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 30 at, St Boniface Church 703 W 5th St Sioux City. Visitation will be Friday September 29 from 4 till 8 p.m. with the family present from 5 till 8 p.m. and vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Nelson Berger Northside Chapel 822 Jennings St. Fred was born June 1, 1964 in Sioux City to Donald and Delores Marks. He attended St Boniface School, and Heelen High School he graduated 1982. He graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College. Fred worked at Region IV, Julius Valley Manor, Goodwill and he worked at Gateway for 14 years. Fred enjoyed music, reading, movies, board games, playing cards and playing Dungeons and Dragons. Fred was close to his family especially his nieces. He is survived by his brothers, Doug (Michelle) of Lawton, IA. Dennis of Omaha, NE. Nieces Brooke (Jose) Camarena of Sioux City, Miranda Marks of Lawton and Sidney Marks of Belleview, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents.
