Lila Lee (Stephens) Solomon

Lila L. (Stephens) Solomon, 76, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at a local hospital.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Pastor John Jorgensen officiating. Visitation with the family present will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Logan Park Cemetery.
Lila was born September 27, 1940 in Burton, Nebraska, the daughter of Gaius W. and Ethel A. (Whitlock) Stephens. She attended Sioux City Public Schools and graduated from Central High School.
Lila is survived by her daughters: Susan (Mike) Rydstrom of Sheldon, IA and Misty (Jeff) Goergen of Mesa, AZ; a son: Gregg Solomon of Sioux City; two brothers: Robert and William Stephens both of Sioux City; and she was blessed with nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister LeAnn Stephens and a granddaughter.
