SIOUX CITY | Todd P. Mozak, 55, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017 at a local hospital.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be the hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Todd was born March 28, 1962 in Sioux City to Ronald L. and Marvel “Tootie” Mozak. He graduated from East High School. Todd then enlisted with the U.S. Air Force and served in Korea where he was a military police officer for four years.
He married Deanna Kor and to that union a daughter, Roni, and a son, Jamie, were born.
Todd owned and operated the Shiloh Cafe then worked as a sous chef at various restaurants including Bev’s on The River and the Sioux City Country Club. He was the warehouse manager at Mozak’s Furniture and Flooring.
He loved to cook and watch old movies and T.V. series. Todd kept close contact with his family and friends. Nothing meant more to him than his family.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Tootie and Tom Edwards of Sioux City; children, Roni Prescott and Jamie Mozak both of Arizona; brother, Tim (Tracey) Mozak of Dakota Dunes, SD; sisters, Peggy (Aaron) Kraft of California and Jennifer Mozak-Wubbena (Dan Wubbena) of McCook Lake, SD; paternal grandmother, Doris Mozak of Sioux City; nephews, Trent, Brant and Cory Mozak, Brandon, Brock and Brady Glissman; nieces, Brittany Ruby, Paige Glissman and Addison Wubbena.
He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and an infant sister, Mary Ann.
