Kyree Lavi Dison

Kyree Lavi Dison, 3 week old son of Derrick Dison and Olivia Lesko, left this earth and went to live with Jesus on August 3, 2017 at Children’s Hospital in Omaha, in the arms of his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 3101 Hamilton Blvd. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Kyree was welcomed into this world on July 13, 2017, in Sioux City, IA. He was a sweet baby who loved nothing more than to be snuggled by those who love him. Although he was only with us a short time he will be loved forever. It broke our hearts to say good-bye, but he is now whole, healthy and happy in a way we won't know until we join him in heaven. It gives us peace to know he never knew heartbreak, he never knew anger or loss. He only knew being dearly loved and snuggled. He now knows joy like we cannot even yet imagine. We will forever miss you Kyree, our little lion, and look forward to holding you in our arms again someday.
Kyree is survived by his parents and brother Christian, his grandparents: Shannon Lesko and Jami Gollhofer, Julie Lesko and Alex Orozco, Ruby and Erney Wood, Derrick Dison Sr and Jennifer Perez, his aunts and uncles: D’Mario Dison, Alexandria Starks, Terrance Starks, Jasmine (Nickolas) Kallasorg, Andre Dualan, Tyler (Jennifer) Lesko, and Shane Lesko. Great-Grandparents: Paul and Jeanne Andersen, Donna Galati-Huls, Ruby & Joyce Anderson, Roy and Ida Mae Ross.
We would like to thank the, literally thousands, of people who prayed for Kyree and our family, our faith communities of Sunnybrook Community Church and Faith Lutheran for their support, and the Drs, nurses, and staff of Children’s Hospital for their tireless dedication to Kyree. Donations, in memory of Kyree, may be made to his parents or to Children’s Hospital in Omaha in memory of Kyree L. Dison.
