Luis Dario Madrid, 81, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his home.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Cathedral of the Epiphany with Father Andrew Galles officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in handling arrangements.
Luis was born November 11, 1935 in Anza, Antioquia, Columbia to Salvador and Jesus (Cossio) Madrid. He has lived in the U.S.A. for the past 44 years. Luis earned his Master's Degree in Psychology and was self-employed.
Luis was a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany. He enjoyed soccer and loved to travel.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Maria "Brenda" Martinez; daughter, Enedina B. Madrid of Sioux City; granddaughter Sumaya Lemus; nephew Alex Martinez; niece Ena Baker and her daughter, Alondra Baker.
