Louis Charles Millage, 87, of Sioux City passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at a local hospital.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 30, 2017 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with Reverend Kathy Olsen officiating. Visitation with the family present will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Louis was born October 26, 1929 in Sioux City, the son of Elmer and Mabel (Yount) Millage. He graduated from Leeds High School in 1948. Louis married Dorothy Allard on November 13, 1948 in Sioux City. Dorothy preceded Louis in death on November 15, 2009. He worked for the Needham Packing Company and then the Hawarden of Iowa Packing Company from 1972 until retirement. Louis enjoyed hunting and golfing and was a member of the Elks Club in Sioux City and the Morningside Country Club.
Survivors include his sons: Douglas (Terese) Millage of Sioux City, Stan (Roxy) Millage of Dakota Dunes, SD, and Mark Millage of Hawarden, IA; grandchildren: Ryan Millage, Sadie (Ray) Reifenrath, Courtney (Matthew) Niles, Charles (Marissa) Millage, Megan Millage, Nicholas (Missy) Dicus, Natasha (Dale) Adams, Christopher Millage, and Michael Millage; 10 Great Grandchildren; Brother: Ronald (Marilyn) Millage; and Sister: Marge Robeson of Wichita, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, son Roger, grandson Derrick, and sister Lila Jager.
