Eleanor Mae Moline, 91, of Sioux City, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at a local care facility.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at Augustana Lutheran Church. The Rev. Del Olivier will officiate. Private graveside services will be held in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:15 to 11 a.m. a.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Eleanor was born May 7, 1925, in Sioux City; she was the daughter of Alfred M. and Elna A. (Olson) Moline. Eleanor grew up in Sioux City. She attended Sioux City schools and graduated from East High School in 1943. Eleanor worked at Security National Bank for a year before attending the University of Minnesota. Eleanor returned to Sioux City and worked for Security National Bank for 42 years and retired as Senior Customer Service Officer.
Eleanor was a lifelong member of Augustana Lutheran Church. She had also been a member of the P.E.O., a 50 year member of Rose Croix Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Sigma Kappa Sorority, VASA Norrskenet Lodge, and Quota Club, where she had served as Governor. Eleanor enjoyed baking cookies, knitting and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Elna Moline; brother, Donald L. Moline; sister, Jane Moline; nephew, Donald F. Moline; and grandnephew, Joel Rodine.
