In loving memory
From his home in Sergeant Bluff, IA in the early morning hours of Sunday April 23rd, 2017 Clinton Wayne Morgan, 39, formerly of Sulphur, LA passed on from this life to fly with the angels.
Clinton Wayne Morgan, son of David Lynn Conner and Bobbi Ann Morgan, was born into this world on January 5th, 1978, in Sulphur, LA. He spent his childhood years in Louisiana and Texas. Growing up, Clinton enjoyed spending time with his big brother whom he looked up to a great deal and with him doing all the things that growing boys do, mischief and all. Countless adventures and memories later, he earned his GED at age 17. He continued his education in many trades including healthcare as a CNA, roofing, and most significantly graphic arts. Around age 20 he ventured to Sioux City while still visiting his home in Louisiana when he could. This path led him to countless more memories to include new family and friends, new places, and his proudest moments being the birth of his children. He spent time in various occupations but found his passions in art and roofing. Clinton was a very gifted artist and used his talent for several years as a tattoo artist while growing his own personal tattoo collection. He went on later to own his own roofing business, Morgan Roofing, while maintaining his art and tattooing as a hobby.
In 2002 Clinton met Heather Olson, the young woman who would eventually become his wife. Over 11yrs. their interactions were few and far between before their paths crossed a final time in July of 2013. They were instantly bonded and on May 17th, 2014 Clinton made her his wife.
Clinton enjoyed the outdoors and together with his wife loved fishing, bonfires, and hiking. They shared a passion for yard work, gardening, wood working, and home remodeling. He also was a lover of TV and movies and would spend quality time with his family this way.
Clinton was many things to many people. He will be fondly remembered as an amazing father, a loving and devoted husband, a loyal friend, and dedicated family man. Perhaps one of his most memorable qualities was his ability to always put a smile on your face and make you laugh uncontrollably even on the worst of days. He wasn't afraid to put himself out there to see that others were in good spirits, and he did it well.
Words can never express how deeply loved he is and how very sorely missed he will be by everyone whose life he touched. Truly a one-of-a-kind, incredible man who left us way too soon.
He is survived by his wife, Heather; his children Kaitlin, Serenity, Sara, Zyler, Isabelle, Serina, Makyal, Gabriel, and Teagan. His father David Conner and mother Bobbi Morgan. His siblings Tesha Morgan, Jarod (Sonya) Conner, Sabrina (Nick) Feilen, and David (fiancee Lindsey) Conner II and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
As well he is survived by lifelong friends Terri "Mom" Warren, Danielle "Sis" Cain, Brandon "Bro" Kollbaum, Jared "Bro" Kollbaum and their spouses, Stephanie "Sissy" Hendersen and her two beautiful girls who are all like a second family to him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and other relatives including his young niece Emmaline Scott and nephews Raymond and Mitchell Scott.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
