Ann Patricia Coffey, 89, of Sioux City, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at a local care facility. Private family services will be held at a later date. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ann was born on March 17, 1928 in Sioux City to Sante and Maria (Rosati) Santangelo. She graduated from Central High School in Sioux City with the Class of 1947. Ann married Jerome J. Coffey on July 8, 1950 in Sioux City.
Ann is survived by her son Mark Coffey, and his wife Tara, of Sioux City, Iowa, and son James Coffey of San Francisco, California; sisters Helen Sponder and Jean Faraci, and her husband Ron, all of Sioux City; and her grandchildren Daniel, Jennifer, Jessica, Michael, and Kevin.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerome in 2003, sister Antonette Kimmel, Antonette’s husband Charles, brother-in-law Leo Sponder, and infant brother John.
