Agnes C. Kritzer, 91, formerly of Sioux City, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at a care facility in Omaha, Nebraska. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Father Michael Cronin and Father Richard Sitzman as ConCelebrants. Entombment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 20th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with family present at 6:00 p.m. and a Rosary Service, followed by a Vigil Service will begin at 6:40 p.m. Online condolences may be offered to the family at
www.meyerbroschapels.com Agnes was born on May 14, 1925 in Granville, Iowa to Nick and Catherine (Hoffman) Stoffel. She married Henry Kritzer on February 3, 1945 in Louisiana. Agnes lived most recently in Omaha Nebraska, but had previously lived in Sioux City for 69 years. . She spent her years as a devoted wife & mother. Agnes was a collector of Lighthouses, hummingbirds, bells, and angels. She was a former member of the Rosary Society within St. Boniface Catholic Church, and enjoyed flower gardening.
She is survived by her children Diane Zimmerman, David (Donna) Kritzer, and Donald (Donna) Kritzer , all of Sioux City, IA, Debra (Chuck) Olson of Omaha NE, and Deana Morse of Norman OK; daughter-in-law Patricia Kritzer of Omaha NE, and numerous grand, great grand, & great great grand children.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Henry, sons Daniel & Douglas.
