LaVonne Molesworth

LaVonne Molesworth, 95 of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Salix, IA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. 

LaVonne was born September 10, 1921 in Salix, IA; she was the daughter of Joseph and Evonne (LaFleur) Haindfield.

LaVonne attended Sloan High School and then married William Molesworth. To this union 2 sons were born. William passed away in 1987.

LaVonne was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching One Life To Live, traveling and going on picnics in Yankton, SD.

Survivors include her two sons: Ronald Molesworth of LeMars, IA and Michael Molesworth of Sioux City; her brother: Joe Haindfield and his wife Mary Lou of Sergeant Bluff, IA; a sister in law: Darlene Lueck of Sioux City and several nieces and nephews.

LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William; twin baby sisters; another sister Laurencia Rossow and 2 brothers Darl and Donald.
