Charles E. Kreymborg, 82, of Sioux City, Iowa, formerly of Danbury, Iowa died Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Countryside Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the United Methodist Church, 100 Liston Street, Danbury, Iowa 51019.
Charles, the son of Louis J. and Alvina (Luinstra) Kreymborg, was born September 15, 1934. He married Donna R. Kempton in 1959 in Sioux City, Iowa. Charles was a long time employee of Sioux City Stock Yards. After leaving Sioux City he was a country buyer for several packers including Producers, John Morrel, Hygrades, and Clougherty Packing Co. He retired in Greeley, CO in 1996. The couple returned to Danbury, Iowa where he enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Donna Kreymborg of Sioux City, IA; five children, Kathy (Doug) Milner of Sioux City, Iowa, Patty (Tim) Sanderson of Mapleton, Iowa, Mike (Toni) Kreymborg of Roanoke, TX, Diana (Bert) Schauer of Mapleton, IA, Mary (Doug) Schumann of Omaha, NE and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Kevin, and grandsons Anthony Schumann, Joey Milner, and Christopher Divis.
