NORTH SIOUX CITY, SD | Angie Jean Fredericksen, 31, of North Sioux City, SD passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Rev. Merrill Muller will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Burial will be at a later date in McCook Cemetery. Visitation will be the hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Angie was born Dec. 13, 1985 in Sioux City. She was the daughter of Randy D. and Robin R. (Markee) Fredericksen. She attended Riverside School, Sunnybrook and graduated from Dakota Valley High School in 2004.
Angie’s favorite thing was Camp High Hopes. After coming home she would talk about everything she did that day. Angie won the senior “Miss Amazing of South Dakota” in 2015. That same year she represented her state of South Dakota in the Nationals in Los Angeles.
Angie loved anything outdoors, especially camping, fishing, racing and 4 wheeling with her Dad. She enjoyed puzzles and watching her niece and nephews play sports.
Survivors include her parents, Randy and Robin Fredericksen of North Sioux City; a brother, Allen Fredericksen (Colleen Willoughby) of North Sioux City; a sister Amanda (Russell) Baum of Sioux City; her maternal grandmother, Barbara Markee of Elk Point, SD; and her niece and nephews, Avery, Andruw and Ena Fredericksen and Rayce and Ryder Baum.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gerald Markee and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Jean Fredericksen.
Honorary pallbearers will be her niece and nephews.
