Rick J. Rosenquist

Rick J. Rosenquist, 54 of Chandler, AZ and formerly of Sioux City passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at his home in Chandler following a courageous battle with cancer.

There will be a memorial Mass at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sioux City. Visitation with the family present will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Rick was born June 1, 1962 in LeMars, IA. He attended Remsen St. Mary’s in Remsen, IA before moving to Sioux City his freshman year and then graduating from Heelan High School. Rick graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in finance.

He married Annette Holler July 3, 1993 in Albuquerque, NM and to this union 3 children were born, Sydney, Courtney and Nicholas.

Rick worked in insurance sales and had worked for various insurance companies over the years.

Rick enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan, he had a great sense of humor and an infectious smile.

Survivors include his children: Sydney, Courtney and Nicholas Rosenquist all of Chandler, AZ; his parents: Mary Ellen and Robert Brady of Dakota Dunes, SD; his sisters and brothers: Laurie Kane of Omaha, NE, Russ Rosenquist (Jenn) of Chandler, AZ, Lisa Myers of Sioux City and Randy Rosenquist of Dakota Dunes, SD; several nieces and nephews.

Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father Ron Rosenquist and a brother in law Dave Kane.
