Hazel M. McHugh, 88, of Sioux City passed away Monday, November 21st, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 25, 2016 at Nelson Berger Northside Chapel with Reverend Paul Speidel officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Hazel was born April 8, 1928 in Canton, Ohio the daughter of Joe and Evelyn (Dickerson) Johnson. She married Francis E. McHugh on May 11, 1946. Hazel worked for Bellas Hess for 10 years. She enjoyed camping and fishing. Hazel was a past member of the Eagles Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors include her children: Deb (Tom) Morey of Sioux City, Denise McHugh of Sioux City; Grandsons: Brian (Jennifer) Copeland, Kevin (Carol) Copeland, Kurt (Susan Whittaker); great grandchildren: Ethan, Chase, Kobe, Christine, Austin (Mariah) Hendrix, Samantha Hendrix, and Makalilia Whittaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis, brothers: William and Robert, and Sons: Billy and Robert.
