Richard L. Schuldt, 83 of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at a Sioux City hospital.
Memorial services will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the V.F.W. Hall, 3601 Minnesota Ave in Sioux Falls, SD. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Richard was born August 28, 1933 in Hartford, SD; he was the son of Herman and Margaret (Jantz) Schuldt. Richard grew up in Hartford and in Sioux Falls and graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls. He served in the U.S. Navy and then married Maureen Martin Sept. 8, 1956. She passed away on August 11, 2015.
Richard worked for American Freight for 33 years.
Survivors include his children: Richard A. Schuldt (Gloria) of Round Rock, TX, Jolynn Logsdon (Conrad) of Sioux City, 4 brothers, 2 grandsons, 2 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
