Clarence A. Myres

Clarence A. Myres, 68 of Sioux City passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at a local care facility.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Rev. Merrill Muller will officiate. Burial will be at the McCook Cemetery in North Sioux City, SD. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday with the family present from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Clarence was born November 1, 1948 in Omaha, NE; he was the son of Clarence E. and Mary J. (Stough) Myres. Clarence grew up in Sioux City, attended Sioux City schools and graduated from Central High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.

Clarence married Beverly Fredericksen on November 24, 1979 in Sioux City and they were together for 47 years. Clarence has worked for Travel Plus for the last 15 years. He enjoyed watching TV, spending time with his children and grandchildren and going out for coffee.

Survivors include his wife Beverly of Sioux City; 2 sons: Shane R. Myres and his wife Theresa of Hornick, IA, John W. Myres of Sioux City; 2 grandsons: Shane D. Myres and Brady R. Myres; 2 great grandchildren: Emma and Josee; 2 sisters: Sandy (Myres) Wahlers and her husband Rudy of Sioux City and Debbie Myres of Sioux City.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Adam Myres.
