Robert C. Henry, Sr., 64, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at his residence.
Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at St. Paul’s Indian Mission with Deacon Patricia Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 until service time at the church, with a Wake Service at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the church. Burial will be at the Omaha Tribal Cemetery in Macy, Nebraska. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences may be given at

Robert was born August 2, 1952 in Wagner, SD the son of Lyle A. Sr. and Philomine B. (Sully) Henry. He married Priscilla Hamilton on September 23, 1994 in Elk Point, SD. Robert was a loving father and grandfather with a great sense of humor and kind spirit. He liked to watch boxing on TV and fish. Robert was a member of St. Paul’s Indian Mission.
He is survived by his wife Priscilla Henry; children: Robert Anthony Henry Jr., Elvis Patrick Henry, Veanna Mae Henry, and Robin Sioux Henry all of Sioux City, Ora Lasley Parker and Andrea Marie Lasley both of South Sioux City, NE and Irene Lois Lasley of Sioux City; 18 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Winona Schultz of Blunt, SD, Lyle Henry Jr. of Sioux City, Henrietta Paulsen of Sioux City, Janice (Scott Sr.) Clancy of Sioux City, Rose Owings of South Sioux City, John Henry Sr. of Oakland, CA, Velma (Russ) Wagner of Pasco, WA, and Roger Henry of Sioux City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lyle A. Henry Sr. and Philomine B. Henry, sister Marge Magnuson, Brother Anthony Henry, and Niece Robin Rene.
Casket Bearers will be Lyle Henry III, Scotty Clancy, Brian Schultz, Ethan Owings, Robby Henry, Troy Henry, Roger Whitebeaver, Tony Crow, and Vincent Parker.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Johnny Paulsen, Jackie Paulsen, and Roger Henry.
