Tanner Allan Hammond

September 10, 1993 — July 26, 2016

   Tanner Allan Hammond, 22 of Lawton, IA passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from Injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

   There will be a celebration of life service at 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave, Sioux City. Pastor Jim Thomas will officiate. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Holly Springs Bible Fellowship Church located at the intersection of the Moville Blacktop and 280th St. with a  service at 7:00 P.M. Friday at the Church. 

   Tanner was born September 10, 1993 in Sioux City; he was the son of Randy and Cami (Miller) Hammond. Tanner graduated from Lawton-Bronson High School in 2012. He was currently employed at Prince Hydraulics.

   Tanner enjoyed motorcycle riding, the outdoors, fishing, hunting and sky diving.

   Survivors include his parents: Randy and Cami Hammond of Hornick, IA; 2 brothers: Hunter of Lawton and Cooper of Hornick; his maternal grandparents: Ken and Betty Miller of Lawton; paternal grandmother: Jeanette Hammond of Lawton; aunts; uncles; cousins and many friends including Jake Johnson.

   Tanner was preceded in death by his brother Tucker and his paternal grandfather Carl Hammond.

   In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Tanner’s name.
