   Audrey Ann Marcelle, 68, of Sioux City, IA died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at a local care center.

   Cremation rites will be accorded.  A celebration of life service will be 12:30 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2016, at Radiant Life Community Church in Sioux City (423 George Street) with Rev. Doug Collins officiating.  Burial will be at a later date at Elk Horn Lutheran Cemetery in Elk Horn, IA.

   Audrey Ann Marcelle, 68, of Sioux City, IA died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at a local care center.

   Audrey Ann Marcelle, the daughter of Einer and Edna (Nelson) Greve, was born July 6, 1948 at Harlan, IA.  The family made the home in Elk Horn, IA and then moved to Anita, IA where she attended school.

   Audrey was united in marriage to Albert Marcelle in Harlan.  They had lived in Atlantic, Harlan and moved to Alabama for a short time.  They later divorced.

   Over the years, Audrey lived in several different communities and held many different jobs.  Some of her jobs included working for the carnival, was a cook, bartender, worked at a flea market and was a certified nurse’s assistant.  She never lived in a community for very long but always left her mark in each place.  Since 2011, she made her home at Holy Spirit Retirement Home in Sioux City.

   Audrey was a member of Radiant Life Community Church in Sioux City.  She was a faithful volunteer at the Gospel Mission for many years.  She enjoyed sewing, painting and loved animals.

   Audrey is survived by two sons: Jason (Sara) Marcelle of Eufaula, AL and Dustin (Amanda) Marcelle of Sioux City, IA; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother, Duane Greve of Kimballton, IA; two sisters: Colleen (Russ) Lange of Atlantic, IA and Carla Greve of Atlantic, IA; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

   Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Charlie Campbell; one son, Shane; one brother, Michael Greve; one sister, Connie Greve and one sister-in-law, Lisa Greve.

   Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel in Sioux City is in charge of arrangements.
