Elois N. McNeil, 93, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at a local care center.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Scott Squires officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Elois was born August 9, 1922 on a farmstead in central South Dakota near Academy, SD, the daughter of Bee Lyle and Agnes (Brown) Morgan. She moved to Wanblee, SD on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. Elois graduated from Sergeant Bluff High School in May 1940. She married Merrill R. McNeil on March 13, 1942 in Rockport, Missouri.
Survivors include her children: Mitchell P. (Marilyn) McNeil, Steven B. McNeil, and Todd M. McNeil; 4 Grandchildren; and 11 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Robert Morgan, and a sister Kathryn Hansen.
